Broccoli salad is a dish that can be made as an appetizer or as a basic course. It can be prepared in different ways. Below is a possibility. It can also be changed to taste, or modified using different ingredients. Such as another type of meat instead of bacon (or, alternatively, bacon and other types of meat can be omitted altogether). Once it’s ready, this recipe can serve up to 8 people, depending on the size of the portion.


  • 1 head broccoli, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup almonds, silverware
  • 1/2 pound grapes, red
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 pound bacon, fried, grated


Step 1

Mix the main ingredients from the broccoli salad section until they are well mixed. In another bowl, combine the vinegar and sugar with the salad dressing (if you want to keep it out, sugar is definitely not the ingredient). Add the dressing to the salad and mix or toss until the salad is evenly coated.

Step 2

Before serving, let the broccoli salad cool for a while in the fridge.

Dressing can be an Italian salad dressing, and balsamic vinegar can be a delicious choice for its part. Although many people like the taste of added sugar, it's not necessary - in fact, many salad dressings already contain high amounts of sugar.
